If your application strictly requires a larger 16mm or 20mm tip for even greater ranges, you would typically move to the PR6425 or PR6426 series.
Can I use this sensor with any vibration monitor?The PR6424/010-010 must be paired with an epro-compatible driver (such as the CON 021) or an MMS 6000/MMS 3000 rack system calibrated specifically for 12mm sensors.
What is the purpose of the armored cable?The armor protects the sensitive coaxial cable from being crushed or cut by machinery covers or sharp metal shavings often found in industrial bearing pedestals.
Does the 1.0-meter cable limit my installation?The 1.0m "pigtail" is designed to reach a junction box mounted on the machine casing. From there, you must use a matching extension cable to reach the total system length (usually 5m or 10m) required by the driver.
